Rye bread was made by our ancestors in the shape of a doughnut and then hung up to dry so that it became crispy and could be kept and enjoyed for a long time. The Company wanted to focus the attention of its consumers on this ancient grain by producing this biscuit-like hard bread Croccosegale based on rye flour, with the characteristics of long ago. It is dried by means of a natural process which renders it crisp, light and tasty and gives it a long shelf life.
It is excellent in stews and soups or accompanied with cheeses and salamis.
